Man Killed in Single Car Accident - Car Splits in Two Pieces

Emergency workers were called to the scene of a single car accident on Main Street near 53rd Street early Friday morning. When they arrived they found a vehicle crashed into a tree in two pieces with the driver, Justin Locke, dead at the scene.
Police stated 28-year-old Locke was trying to pass another car on Main Street at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a tree, splitting the car into two pieces. The accident occurred just after midnight.
