Motorist is Killed after High Speed Chase with Kansas City Police

A 31-year-old motorist was killed following a brief high speed pursuit by Kansas City Police. The fatal auto accident happened on I-470 near Strother Road in Lee's Summit, Missouri on June 10, 2011. According to police, the suspect's vehicle was clocked at nearly 98 mph. When a trooper tried to stop the vehicle, the chase began. Police pursued the vehicle for only a few minutes before the fleeing car lost control and rolled over in a ditch.
