Nine People, Including a Child Seriously Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash

Nine people were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle crash that happened on July 17, 2011 in Chicago, Illinois. Authorities investigating the crash believe the serious injury accident may have been caused by a teenage girl who was driving her brother's sports utility vehicle. Police say the girl was allegedly upset over a relationship with a boy and crashed the SUV into two other vehicles, including a bus.

All in all, nine people were hospitalized. Three of the victims, including a child suffered injuries considered to be critical. Others were listed in either fair to serious condition.
