Off-Duty Police Officer In Multiple Car Accident

A multiple car crash occurred along 23rd Street near I-435 and involved an off-duty police officer. The accident happened around 6:15 a.m. Tuesday morning and involved three vehicles in the small pile-up. The officer was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The crash is under investigation.
