One Dead, One Injured in Wrong Crash on Kansas Highway 10

A 23 year-old man was killed in a fatal car accident on Kansas Highway 10 on August 6th, 2011. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened around 2 a.m. just west of I-435 when a car entered the westbound lanes of the highway heading in the wrong direction and slammed head-on into another vehicle.

The fatality victim has been identified as Ezequiel Gallardo-Moncallo of Kansas City, Missouri. He was ejected from his vehicle and died at the scene of the accident. The driver of the second car, an Olathe man was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was listed in critical but stable condition.
