One Fatality After Two Vehicle Crash in Odessa, Missouri

One person was killed and two more were hospitalized after a two vehicle accident on Missouri Highway 291 near Odessa, Missouri.  The accident happened when one vehicle, possibly trying to make a U-turn, crossed over the center line of the highway and was struck by a car traveling north.  The 19 year-old driver of the vehicle that was hit died in the crash, while the passenger suffered serious injury and was taken to a hospital.

The driver of the second vehicle was also injured and hospitalized.  The injuries are not considered to be life threatening.
