One Railroad Crew Injures Legs of Another

A man was recently injured while working on the Union Pacific Railroad tracks.

The accident happened on the access road just west of N.W. Landon Road and N.W. 35th St in Topeka.

The injured crew member was working on the tracks, walking along the tracks at the access road when he was struck.  The other crew member was driving a Chevy Silverado truck, backed up to the access road and stuck the crew member and ran over his legs.

The injured man, was transported to Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center with injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
