Overland Park Cop Accidentally Shoots Self in Leg at Police HQ

An Overland Park police officer suffered a serious injury when his gun accidentally discharged and shot him in the leg.  The accident happened at the end of the officer's shit at around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday September 8th at the Overland Park, Kansas Police Headquarters.  The injured police officer is a two-year veteren of the police force.  Police are investigating the incident.
