Overland Park Man Dies After Rollover Car Accident

An Overland Park man lost his life on Friday, the victim of a dangerous rollover car accident early in the morning.  Police say the accident happened in the south bound lanes of Highway 69 near the College Boulevard exit.  The 27 year old victim was driving when he lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a pole along the shoulder of the highway.

The man suffered critical injuries in the crash and was taken to a local hospital where he received treatment but would eventually succumb to his injuries.  Overland Park Police and safety crews continued to investigate the cause of the crash.
