Parents can fill out product registration cards to protect kids from recalls

Thanks to new federal regulations under the 2008 Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act, parents who fill out product registrations for child products will be contacted if there is a dangerous product recall issued.  A similar program has been in place for years that offers manufaturer contact if there is a recall on child car seats.
