Pickup Truck Crash Kills One and Injures Many in Audrain County Missouri

A recent accident on a rural Audrain Country road ejected nine people from the bed of a pickup truck and two from the cab of the truck.  The victims ranged in age from 10 to 40 years old.

The crash occurred on County Road 435, about seven miles northeast of Mexico. Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the driver of the 2002 Dodge truck was driving at a high speed, lost control, causing the truck to overturn several times.

One passenger was pronounced dead shortly after the accident at a local hospital.  The driver had minor injuries. And several passengers were hospitalized in serious to good condition.
