Police Cracking Down On Aggressive Drivers In Overland Park, Kansas

The Overland Park Police Department is increasing patrols around 435 and Roe Avenue in Overland Park, Kansas in order to crack down on aggressive driving.  An increased number of phone calls from motorists reporting aggressive drivers is the reason for the extra attention to the area.  Police are looking for motorists making u-turns, making sudden lane changes, speeding and other practices considered aggressive.

"When people see a large number of officers in a certain area, it encourages them to slow down and be more cautious," Overland  Park police Sgt. Ray Tisinger said.
