Prairie Village Three-Car Crash Leaves One Victim Dead

The intersection of Nall Avenue and 69th Street was the scene of an accident that left one woman dead Thursday evening just after 5:00 p.m.  The accident occured when a Honda Accord heading northbound on Nall struck a Mercury Sable heading eastbound on 69th Street from southbound Nall.  The Mercury then struck another vehicle, a Honda SUV, that was stopped at 69th Street.  

The 67-year-old passenger of the Mercury was killed at the scene.  The driver of that car and the driver of the Accord were both taken to area hospitals for treatment and are expected to recover.  The driver of the Honda SUV was not injured.

Police reported that speed did not appear to be a factor in the accident.  Authorities are continuing their investigation.
