Raymore Man Killed in Trucking Accident

A trucking accident on I-70 in Montgomery county claimed the life of a local Raymore man early Thursday morning.  The man, identified as Ricky W. Williams, 51, of Raymore, Missouri was driving a 2000 International tractor eastbound on I-70 near Warrenton, Missouri when the accident occurred around 12:25 a.m. Thursday morning. 

Authorities reported that the truck left the roadway along the right side, went down an embankment and hit a ditch.  Mr. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.

In the preliminary investigation it is unclear as to whether or not Williams was wearing his seat belt.  The truck was the only vehicle involved in the accident.
