Roadside collision on Topeka, KS. highway injures four people

A three vehicle collision in Topeka, Kansas sent four people to hospitals with serious but non-life threatening injuries.  According to reports, the accident, which happened on December 27, 2010 was caused when one vehicle stopped to assist another stalled vehicle on the side of U.S. Highway 75 near NW 46th street.  A third vehicle entering the highway didn't see the stopped vehicles and crashed into the assisting motorist which caused that vehicle to crash into the other car.

Topeka police were not sure if slick road conditions were cause for the crash.
