Running a red light causes car-semi truck accident in Burbank, WA.

An accident involving a semi-truck and a car sent two people to the hospital in Burbank, Washington on Monday October 18, 2010.  According to Washington State Police, the accident happened at the intersection of U.S. Highway 12 and State Route 124 around 9:40 a.m. when a car ran a red light and crashed into a big rig trying to enter the highway.  Both the passenger and driver of the car were taken to hospitals having suffered serious injuries in the crash.  The driver of the truck however, was not injured.
