School Bus Driver Facing 25 Counts of Driving Under the Influence and Child Endangerment

A New Jersey school bus driver is facing 25 counts of DUI after being arrested for operating a school bus under the influence of alcohol with a bus full of children. Authorities say the children aboard the bus alerted used cell phones to call their parents to say the driver was falling asleep and swerving at the wheel of the bus. The parents notified police who managed to locate the bus at another stop where the driver was picking up more children.

The driver, identified as 46 year-old Carol Crockett is now facing 25 counts of driving under the influence and is also facing charges of minor and child endangerment. Her blood alcohol level was reported to be at .25 percent.
