Semi-Truck Rollover Accident on I-29 in Kansas City Shuts Down Highway

A rollover crash involving a semi-truck full of cattle happened shortly before 5:30 a.m. on Friday June 10, 2011 just north of Faucett, Mo and brought traffic to a grinding hault on I-29.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol trucking accident was caused the the semi-truck overturned on the highway just south of St. Joseph. At the time of the accident, the truck was hauling 92 head of cattle in the trailer. Emergency crews have had to cut two holes in the trailer to get the surviving cattle out.
The driver of the semi-truck was not injured. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
