Speed causes loss of control in single vehicle accident in Lawrence

Police say speeding is the cause of a single vehilce accident that happened in downtown Lawrence, KS. on December 9, 2010.  A car driven by a 21 year-old man lost control taking a corner at 6th and Massachusettes and rolled onto a bridge near the Kansas River.  A 29 year-old woman was a passenger in the car.  Both driver and passenger suffered minor injuries but declined medical treatment at the scene of the Kansas auto accident.
