SUV Collision in Topeka, KS. Caused by Running a Red Light

A two vehicle t-bone crash sent three people to a local hospital in Topeka, Kansas on Wednesday June 15, 2011. Topeka Police say the auto injury accident happened at S.W. 10th and Fairlawn when two sport utility vehicles collided in the intersection. Reports indicate a Toyota Rav4 that was westbound on S.W. 10th collided with a Jeep Liberty that was headed north on S.W. Fairlawn, said police Cpl. William Chapman.

The driver of the Toyota and two passengers of the Jeep were all hospitalized with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The accident was being investigated to determine which of the vehicles ran the red light at the Topeka intersection.
