Teenager killed in single car accident in Kansas City was speeding

An 18 year old man was killed late Saturday night when he was involved in a car crash. The accident happened at 24th street and Parallel Parkway in Kansas City at around 1:00 a.m. According to police the driver was speeding when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed. The driver died at the scene of the accident.
