Two Kansas City children in hospital; abuse suspected in case

Kansas City Police took two children into custody tonight, believed to be victims of child abuse.  Following a tip, officers were sent to the 3900 block of Everett Avenue in KCK to investigate an alleged child abuse situation.  According to the KCPD, the officers decided at the home at the to instead take the kids to a hospital.  The children, ages unknown, are currently at Children's Mercy Hospital.  The severity of injuries, if any, is unknown.

Police remained at the home to investigate and at last report there had yet to be an arrest.
