Two KCK Police Officers Injured in Motorcycle Accident on I-435

Kansas City, Kansas-  Two members of the KCK Police Department were seriously injured in a double motorcycle accident on Wednesday March 9, 2011.  The motorcycle injury accident happened just before 8 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-435 near K-10 highway as the Kansas City Police Officers were on their way to training.

According to reports, one of the motorcycles hit a slick spot on the highway and caused him to lose control, taking the other motorcycle out in the process.  One of the motorcyclists was thrown from the motorcycle and suffered serious injuries but neither man suffered any life threatening injuries.
