Two people are seriously injured in auto accident in Overland Park, KS

An auto injury accident in Overland Park, Kansas on Thursday sent two people to the hospital for treatment for injuries.  According to Overland Park Police, the accident occured when a 1995 Dodge pick up truck collided with a 1997 Toyota Corolla at the intersection of 123rd street and Blue Valley Parkway.  Both passengers in the Toyota were hospitalized.  The driver of the car, a woman, suffererd what was described as serious injury while the passenger of the vehilce suffered more critical injuries.  The driver of the pick up was not injured.  Further details of the accident were not released by authorities.
