Wake Up-- Child Dies in Car in Puerto Rico; How Alert are You in the Morning?

A 21 month-old boy is dead after being left in a car all day while his mother was at work. The fatal child accident happened in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Monday April 4, 2011. The woman, who is a gynecologist doctor at a medical facility in Puerto Rico, apparently forgot to drop her car off at day care that morning and was oblivious to the fact the child was in the rear facing car seat when she got to work.  The child was found hours later, was unresponsive and was pronounced dead at a hospital that evening.

Authorities had yet to determine if the woman, Dr. Cynthia Galinaltis would be charged with anything, pending an investigation.
