Whole Foods and FDA issue cheese recall due to Escherichia coli 0157:H7 bacteria

The Food and Drug Administration and Whole Foods have issued a product recall on several products in the Sally Jackson Foods line of cheese because the cheese might be contaminated with Escherichia coli 0157:H7 bacteria.  Currently the recall affects California, Nevada, Washington State and Washington D.C.

The Sally Jackson products involved in the recall include: cow's milk cheese, goat's milk cheese, sheep's milk cheese, cow's milk cheese wrapped in chestnut leaves, sheep's milk cheese wrapped in chestnut leaves and goat's milk cheese wrapped in grape leaves.
