Wichita, KS. Woman Seriously Injured while Sunbathing on Daytona Beach

A woman from Wichita, Kansas was seriously injured when she was hit in the head by a truck while sun bathing on a beach in Daytona, Florida. Reports indicate the truck was being driven by a 21 year-old lifeguard, when he was flagged down by someone who had reported some broken glass on the beach. The lifeguard was making a u-turn when the accident happened.

The woman has been identified as 33 year-old Erin Joynt. She was taken to a hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
