Worker killed in forklift accident at Kansas City Bannister Complex

A contract worker from Florida was killed in a tragic forklift accident at the warehouse located at the Bannister Complex in Kansas City, Missouri.  According to witnesses, the man was moving metal shelving fromt he warehouse to the dock when he apparently took a wide turn causing the forklift to fall from the dock.  The worker tried to jump free from the falling machine but the forklift fell on top of him.

An attempt to free him from the wreckage failed.
