18 yr-old Lenexa, KS. Man Killed in Crash after Tree Collapses on Vehicle
Last week, tragedy struck when an 18 year-old man was killed in a single vehicle crash. The fatal auto crash happened on 83rd street near Mullen Road in Lenexa, KS. Authorities say the teen driver was traveling west on 83rd when he lost control of the vehicle and went off the road before crashing into a tree. A large limb collapsed onto the vehicle, pinning the man inside. Emergency crews managed to extricate the victim, who suffered critical injuries in the accident. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died from the severity of his injuries.
