Homemade Fireworks Explosion Sends 31 yr-old Baldwin, Kansas Man to Hospital

A Douglas County man was seriously injured in an explosion that is being called a possible fireworks accident. According to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office the 31-year-old victim was hospitalized with severe burn injuries. The accident took place at the man's home in Baldwin, Kansas just east of Lodestar Lake. Police beieve the man may have been making his own fireworks.
