My mother was killed in a car wreck back in 2003 and James Roswold’s office helped us with the wrongful death suit. James just came straight forward and said ‘hey this is what the state needs to do and this is what I’m going to do to help you get it done.’ (He explained) what the state needed to do to prevent other accidents in the future from happening in the same spot my mom had hers. He explained what the guardrails were supposed to be like and (how) it wasn’t done (properly). He set up everything with the state and with the judge. He made us aware of what our court dates were and helped us get everything taken care of. I’ve been out there to the site (of my mother’s accident) a few times and they’ve actually updated the guardrails (according to) state regulation. He took care of ninety percent of everything that we needed to do on my mother’s case.
He was always polite. He never said anything that wasn’t true. He will definitely make sure that you understand what the case is and what he can do to help. You can tell that he is well experienced in his profession.
Recently, there was an additional check that he needed to get to us from the case of our mother’s accident and his firm got ahold of us...me, my sisters and my little brother. Even though I haven’t been able to get ahold of my little brother for five years, James somehow found out how to get ahold of him and got him his money.
The staff in the office is pretty nice and let me know what I need to do to get ahold of James. If he (was) not available, they’d take a message. They always got ahold of us to let us know what we needed to do. There wasn’t a time that went by when he asked me to call him or he said he was going to call me back that he never followed up. I have his cell phone number programmed into my phone.
I had an (additional) issue awhile back that James took care of. There my landlord lost our house in foreclosure. I know James doesn’t specialize in that but I called him up for information because the bank that took over the house and gave me two weeks notice to vacate the property. James actually got ahold of that company and they gave us a ninety day notice so that way my family and I weren’t sleeping on the streets.
I trust James with my life, my family. It’s just a gut feeling you get when you meet somebody. It’s hard to explain but he was definitely there to help us. I would contact James if I needed anything ever in the future and if he’s not available, I would contact somebody else in his firm to be able to provide me with any information that I might possibly need.
(With the wrongful death suit), I feel that James got the best result possible. Money can’t replace a life but it definitely helps take care of the bills. He was there to help us in our time of need. In the future, I’ll definitely call James Roswold.
