On Wednesday morning, authorities responded to a truck fire in Kansas City Kansas near Seventh Street Trafficway and Stewart Avenue.

 

The fire started when a driver of a maroon car was driving north on Seventh Street Trafficway when the car struck a parked truck and the truck went up in flames. No one was in the truck at the time of the crash. The driver of the car, a male in his 50’s, was trapped and firefighters had to remove him from the vehicle using extrication tools. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he is in serious but stable condition.
