43 year-old Man Killed in Automobile-Train Accident in Kiowa, Kansas

A 43 year-old man was killed when his vehicle was struck by a train at a railroad crossing in Kiowa, Kansas.  The automobile-train accident happened on March 13, 2011 in Kiowa, Kansas, a small town in SW Kansas.  Police say the man stopped to allow one train to pass then tried to weave around the crossing arms attempting to beat another train.  The man's car got stuck on the track and he was hit.
