Springfield Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash near Stotts City, MO.

A fatal motorcycle-automobile collision near Stotts City, Missouri claimed the life of a 39 year-old motorcyclist last week.  The accident happened on Highway 97 in Lawrence County, Missouri when the motorcyclist, a Springfield, Missouri man, was attempting to pass two vehicles on the highway when a pick up truck attempted to make a left turn and collided with the cyclist. 

There were no other vehicles involved in the crash and no other injuries reported.  Missouri Highway Police are investigating the crash to determine fault.
