Kansas City Police say Fatal Crash in Independence, MO. was Caused by Speeding

Kansas City Police say speeding is the cause of a single vehicle crash that killed one person and sent another to the hospital with a very serious injury.  The accident, which happened at Cogan Drive and 28th terrace court in Independence, Missouri early that morning when a car lost control and struck a tree.  The crash killed the driver and severely injured the passenger.
