Comments (0)
Yesterday, a fatal trucking accident took place in Kansas City, Kansas when a semi-truck hauling orange juice drove over a guard rail and plunged from a bridge on K-32 at I-435. The driver of the truck was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the fiery crash is unknown at the time. One other person suffered serious injuries in the crash and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Investigators are working to determine what caused the trucker to drive off the highway bridge.

At Roswold Law Group, our experienced Kansas City Trucking Injury Accident Lawyers are saddened by this news. Trucking accidents are one of the most dangerous types of accidents any motorist can be involved in and it has everything to do with the massive size of the big rigs. There are a number of reasons trucking accidents happen. One of the main causes is drowsy driving, caused by too many hours on the road for a truck driver. According to Kansas Highway Patrol, this could be a factor in this accident, although nothing at all has been determined or confirmed, only speculation.
