Speeding the Probable Cause of Near-Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Downtown Kansas city

Comments (0)
At Roswold Law Group, we know first hand that accidents can and will happen.  However, we also know that the severity of the results can always be reduced by following proper safety precautions. Simply following the rules of the road such as traffic signals, making proper lane changes and especially speeding can go a long way in making the difference between an injury acccident and a fatality case.

In Kansas City this past weekend a motorcyclist was nearly killed after a crash caused the rider to fall nearly twenty feet.  The motorcyclist was trying to merge onto I-35 from I-70 near downtown KC when the rider lost control, hit a wall, and fell onto the highway ramp below.  Police say speeding is most likely the cause of the Kansas City Motorcycle Accident.

There are over 2,000 deaths every year in the United States from motorcycle related accidents. Negligence, in one way or another, is almost always involved in these types of accidents. But blame does not rest entirely with the person driving the motorcycle.  As experienced Kansas City Motorcycle Injury Lawyers, we certainly hope the man injured recovers from this tragic motorcycle accident.

As always, we would like to remind everyone, whether you're driving a car or a motorcycle to practice safe driving techniques including wearing a seat belt and a helmet.  Keep the roads safe for everyone.
