All car accidents can be dangerous.  No matter how serious, they all have a chance at serious injury for all drivers and passengers involved, as well as any pedestrians who may be close.  Highway crashes represent and even greater chance of catastrophic results.

Two people were killed in a crash on I-29 in Kansas City, Missouri over the weekend.  MoDot has not revealed any other details from the crash other than it happend on I-29 near the 152 exit.

At Roswold Law Group, we see accidents like this far too often.  Check out our Auto Accident Injury blog and you will be amazed at the number of accidents that happen because a driver is driving distracted.  Most people don't realize they are distracting themselved until it's too late.  Distracted driving constists of anything you are doing that is taking your attention off the road.  This inculdes cell phones, eating and even something as seemingly harmless as chatting with a passenger.

We want to remind you to please take driving on the highway very seriously.  Safe and attentive driving techniques can not only prevent dangerous crashes, but also prevent serious injury when something unavoidable develops on the road in front of you.  Drive safe, drive smart.  Arrive alive.

Our Kansas and Missour Auto Accident and Injury Attorneys would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the families of the victims in this unfortunate accident.  We hope in the future, Kansas City motorists use these tragic examples as stiff lessons in why highway safety is so very important.
