A 67 year-old cab driver was killed in a tragic wrong way crash on I-35 in Kansas City, Kansas early Sunday morning.  According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 1:15 a.m. on I-35 near the Seventh street exit when a 39 year-old woman entered the highway going the wrong way and collided head on with the taxi.  The collision killed the cab driver and dealt the other driver a serious injury that is not expected to be life threatening.

There is a pending investigation into the cause of the crash, although KHP officials are already on record that alcohol was probably involved in the accident.

The Kansas City Personal Injury Attorneys Roswold Law Group we are saddened by this tragic and unnecessary accident.  We'd like to extend our deepest sympathies to friends and family of the victim in this fatal drunk driving crash.

We would like to remind all motorists in Kansas and Missouri to plan ahead to find a designated driver or call a friend or family member for a ride home if you're planning on a night of drinking.  Remember, its okay to have a drink or two or three but the moment you get behind the wheel of an automobile you are putting your life, not to mention the lives of innocent motorists and pedestrians in danger.

Drinking and driving is against the law.  Drink smart.
