James is a graduate of University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management in Minneapolis, MN, graduating magna cum laude, and University of Iowa Law School in Iowa City, IA, receiving his law degree and graduating with distinction, and he is admitted to practice law in both State and Federal Courts in Missouri.
James started his legal career working for a defense litigation firm, where he litigated personal injury, insurance, FELA, and asbestos cases. In a short time working for a defense firm, he gained an insight into "the other side's" preparation of a civil case, something that would become highly useful in his practice just three years later when he joined a law firm in Kansas City, MO and began his career of representing victims of injury accidents and medical negligence. There he was involved in all types of civil litigation, aggressively pursuing personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, consumer fraud, charitable fundraising, property insurance and workers' compensation cases on behalf of injured victims. Two years later, he helped start a law firm in Kansas City, MO representing personal injury victims where he became a partner in 1999.
Fourteen years later, James decided he could best serve his clients by opening his own office for the practice of law in cases dealing with injured victims of personal injury, medical negligence, wrongful death, workers compensation, nursing home negligence, premises liability, product liability, and accident cases.
James takes pride in obtaining fair and just compensation for seriously injured people throughout Kansas & Missouri. Kansas City Accident Injury Attorneys has office locations in downtown Kansas City, MO; Overland Park, KS; Lee's Summit, MO; and Parkville, MO.
Having his own law firm, James is able to provide the most personalized and individualized attention to each and every one of his clients. In his office, every client is a very important person not a file. He treats his clients with the dignity and the respect that they deserve and expect from a professional. He prides himself on knowing the details of the cases he handles. He knows what happened last on the client's case when he receives a call because he was directly involved in the matter.

The ordeal went on and on but James never gave up or acted frustrated with my numerous contacts. He provided sound legal advice, help, support and encouragement.
