The Kansas City hit and run victim struck by a vehicle in the Waldo area on Wednesday evening died this morning according to the Kansas City police. The police say that Paul Allegri, who was 56 years of age, was struck at the intersection of Main Street and 77th Terrace. There was a witness at the accident scene, who advised police officers that the Kansas City man was hanging from the door of the hit and run automobile when he fell and was struck. The hit and run accident occurred at approximately 6:30 pm on Wednesday. The 49 year old female driver of the vehicle that hit Allegri fled the accident scene. She was later arrested by the police. A police investigation of the incident continues.
