At Kansas City Accident Injury Attorneys, we know protecting your child is your number one priority. That's why we are passing along this info so you can protect your infant child. As of November 2, 2011, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a dangerous product recall on over 440 Dutailier drop-side cribs because of entrapment and fall hazards to infants.

If you have one of these cribs, check the part numbers located on the end panels of the crib. The problem models include the numbers:

  • E1230C2
  • E3500C2
  • E3540C2
  • E5100C2
  • E5140C2
  • E5530C2
  • E9000C2
  • E9100C2.

Consumers are able to contact the Dutailier Group for a free repair kit and are advised not to use the crib under any circumstances until the problem with your crib is fixed. For more information concerning the product recall, consumers can contact the Dutailier Group toll-free at (800) 363-9817 on Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CST, and on Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Kansas and Missouri Defective Product Injury Lawyers hope you take this and all dangerous product recalls seriously. This is a serious situation that could lead to a fatality if you have one of these cribs.  Don't take a chance with your child's safety.

Stay up to date on the latest product recall information by filling out the product registration card.  You could be contacted if you purchase a product that has been recalled.
