Missouri Dock Worker Killed in Forklift Accident

A 54 year-old dock worker was killed in a work related accident when the forklift he was driving fell off a loading dock at Schroeder & Tremayne Inc. in St. Louis, Missouri. The worker, identified as Rober Jett of Festus, Missouri was an employee of the company for the last 18 years. Right now there is no indication as to how the forklift fell off the dock. Rescuers used another forklift to free the injured worker and he was taken to a nearby hospital where he eventually passed away from the severity of his injuries.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating what caused the fatal Missouri workplace accident.
