Easter Morning Crash in Kansas City Kills Three and Injures Two

A car crash at 67th Street and South Benton Avenue killed three people and critically injured two others around 3:30 a.m.Sunday morning in Kansas City.  Police reported that the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle, sending it airborne and crashing into a tree.  The tree was uprooted due to the force of the collision.  Driver Stephen Johnson, DeJuan Williams and Denise White were all pronounced dead at the accident scene.  Two other victims were taken to Kansas City area hospitals for treatment.  Police are continuing their investigation of the motor vehicle collision.
